Symptom:Thecartonlyallowsoneitematanygiventime.Ifaseconditemisadded,thenewitemshowsinthecartbutthefirstitemisnolongerthere.Cause:Theshopper'sbrowserdoesnothavecookiesenabled.Thefirsttimetheshopperaddsanitemtotheircart,nocookieexistsandthecartcreatesanewshoppingsession.Assubsequentitemsareadded,theyareassociatedwiththeoriginalorderbyretrievingthecookie.Whencookiesarenotenabled,eachitemlookslikeabrandnewshoppingsession.SolutionIncludeanoticeonyoursitethatcookiesarerequiredinordertoshop.Sincethecartcannottellthedifferencebetweenanewsessionandashopperwithcookiesdisabled,thepreferredsolutionwouldbetodetectwhethertheshopperhascookiesenabledbeforetheybeginshopping
